KOCKA was a lead partner in this EU-funded project, which aimed to improve environmental governance in Macedonia. The project helped civil society organizations play a more active role in climate and energy-related policymaking, with training programs and capacity-building activities tailored to these needs.

KOCKA as part of the project “Cross-Border Business Network for Sustainable Development,” funded by the EU IPA program for Cross-Border Cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, conducted two trainings for representatives of the business and NGO sectors on the topics “European Standards and Business Cooperation” and “Project Management.”

KOCKA, as part of the project “Cross-Border Educational Network for Children with Special Needs,” funded by the EU IPA program for Cross-Border Cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, organized and implemented a public campaign to reduce prejudice against people with special needs and to raise awareness about the necessity of educational inclusion of children with special needs in regular classes in primary schools.

Capacity building was conducted for a team of trainers selected within the framework of the USAID project for Municipal Climate Change Strategies. The primary goal of the training was to enable the team of trainers to support partner municipalities and local institutions in the process of managing climate change.
